Aug. 13th, 2002 02:22 amTo maintain the proper dates (I'm a pedant that way), I've been backdating my entries to around the time they actually occurred, rather than when I wrote them up (since I rarely get round to writing them up till some time later - I realise that this makes it a TiVo journal, rather than a live journal).
Is this a good idea? I've not been using the "backdate" option, so new entries (even if backdated) should appear at the top of other peoples' friends lists (if they list me as a friend). I do list the date posted at the bottom. However, if you look for new entries among my "recent postings", you might miss some (of course, that may be for the best).
