I'm a particle physicist, living in Oxford and working on an experiment in California and another one in Geneva. I would be a slacker if I didn't enjoy hacking so much.

If I manage to keep this LJ properly, it will be mainly as a reminder to myself in the future. While I can remember the J/psi mass (3097 MeV/c2) and Fortran format syntax (-6PF6.0,8H MeV/c^2), I can't remember what I was doing a couple years ago.

Being interested in history (especially of politics, science, and technology), I hope these LiveJournals will remind us all how things were in the naughties.
