Bah humbug
Dec. 25th, 2002 02:01 amI can't say I'm a fan of Christmas, even at the best of times. I doubt anyone could feel kindly disposed to the season after spending 4 hours in an airport with non-stop American Christmas musak and messages "you do not have to give money to solicitors" every minute in 4 languages (though in retrospect, I think the combination of music and message was amusing).
At the moment I'm at my brother's new house for a family get-together. So far, so good. A nice dinner, babies passibly cute and not yet annoying, and a couple of episodes of Buffy with my mother, while the rest went off for some religious rite.
Since a lot's been happening, I have quite a bit of blogging to catch up with, but I just wanted to be the first (among my friends list, at least) to say "bah humbug" today. Also since I couldn't work out what mood I was in, I decided to see what icon would come with "horny". Maybe ambivalent would be a teensy bit more accurate, but it wasn't in the list.
